Description

Boccasile expresses here all the joy of reliving Italy in the post-war period. There are three versions of this image, this one with the girl with uncovered breasts that is the rarest, another in which it is veiled and a third in which it is covered by rose petals. The specimen comes from a perfumery where it was exposed on the outer wall. To hang it was glued on a masonite support, from which it is possible, but risky, to detach it. The colors are a bit faded and has small widespread shortcomings. It should be framed with an American dumpster frame. He was present in numerous publications on posters including the volumes of Menegazzi and Scudiero.
